Wood Duck Reproduction

A wood duck usually breeds in the summertime. The female wood duck produces tan white eggs. The average amount of eggs is 15, but it varies greatly. Wood ducks have their nests in the cavities of trees.

The difference between male and female wood ducks is that males are more brightly colored, but females are more toned down colorwise.
